Bobbin Lace Medallion

Continuing Bobbin Lace

An original class by Alissa Barton, Knitting Fairy

You’ve taken Beginning bobbin lace and want to continue to develop your skills. This is the class for you! We will be working a medallion, starting along a radius and working around the corners. You will learn about working with finer threads, hanging in, fan edges, corners, spiders, and as many other special stitches as I can throw in. We will end with joining the end to the beginning and finishing off the tails.

You can use your bobbins from beginning bobbin lace, I will provide the threads. You will need all your beginning bobbin lace tools as well (pins, etc). This form of Torchon is best worked on a small cookie pillow. Recommended at least 16″ covered cookie pillow. Larger is ok, but too large to annoying.
