Tomorrow, Sunday April 6th, we will have our regular Stitchin’ at the Studio from 1-5pm. The shop is open 12-5pm and Rose from Creative Touch will be doing chair massage from 12-5, $1/minute. Call the shop to reserve your time or come by and get on the list.

NEXT week, April 12th we will have a class with Mary from Butterfly Girl Designs. Mary is teaching drop spinning from 1-3pm
Beginning Drop Spinning – 2 hours – class limit 5

Have you ever wondered how yarn was made? Have you ever wanted to try spinning it yourself? Come to this class and learn the basics of spinning yarn with a drop spindle.
Cost $20
(optional) Kit fee $30: (includes drop spindle and 4 ounces of fiber) – If you don’t wish to purchase the kit, you may bring drop spindle weighing more than an ounce and 4 ounces of wool to class

On Sunday, April 13th we will have our next Build-A-Batt day with Mary. Come by anytime from 12-5 and let Mary help you create your very own custom batt (or two…) out of her stock of fantastic spinning fibers. Cost depends on how much you card up!

On Saturday, April 19th we will have a book signing with Geri Lowry, author of The Rats of Grandville. (you may have met Geri in our FiberFest booth, now you can come a visit with her a bit more!) We have copies of both the first AND the second books. Hopes are that the third book will be released by the end of 2014.

On Saturday April 26th and May 3rd we will have another edition of our ever-popular “Don’t Despair, Repair!” class from 1-3pm. This class is $30 and you will spend two days learning MANY ways to repair just about anything that can go wrong with your knitting – both while it is still on the needles and after the whole thing is said and done. There is homework, and only 1 spot remains open so call the shop today to claim it!
