Fabulously Fun & Fast Scarf #1
A Free pattern from The Knitting Fairy™

Finished Size: 6" wide by 62" long

Skill Level: EASY

3 skeins Paris by Reynolds (60 yards each)
US #10 needles
Darning needles

YO = yarn over

All yarn overs occur on the same side of the scarf, this is what creates the bias effect. Start all new skeins at the END of a row. Then hide the ends down the sides to finish.

Loosely Cast On 30 sts.
Row 1: K1, YO, Knit to last 2 sts, K2 tog.
Row 2: Knit.

Repeat Rows 1 and 2 until length desired. Bind off loosely. Weave in all ends.

This pattern is wonderfully adaptable. Want a wider scarf? Cast on more stitches! Want a longer scarf? Buy an extra skein and knit it longer! Keep in mind that this scarf is knit on the bias. It will stretch in length and narrow in width the longer you make it. To measure the length, fold the scarf in half and let it hang.
