Dream in Color
Triangulum (BFY)
This quick to knit shawl is the perfect way to show off that one skein of Brooks Farm Yarn Acero (420 yds/ fingering weight yarn). A beautiful accent of beads in the body of the shawl and along the bind off add just the right weight to help keep it on and really allow your creation to shine. You will also need 450 size 6/0 beads. Finished size is 60″ wide by 30″ deep. This pattern is available on Ravelry.
Shoulder Bling Shawl (BFY)
This is the perfect shawl for a night on the town. The dainty lace edging is knit with beads, the center is garter stitch. Use Brooks Farm Yarn Acero to create just the right thing to keep the chill off your shoulder while you party the night away. The pattern is written in two sizes, the medium size is 60″ from wrist to wrist and 26″ deep, the larger size is 80″ from wrist to wrist and 34″ deep. Magic Shawl (BFY)
These are the same instructions for our original Magic Shawl, re-written to be done with Brooks Farm Acero, a silk/superwash wool blended fingering weight yarn with amazing drape. The shawl is knitted on US #10.5 needles and is a great introduction to lace and my all-time favorite shawl to wear. This pattern is available on Ravelry.
January Hill (BFY)
As the chill of Autumn nights sets in this shawl will keep you nice and toasty. This semi-circular design will stay on your shoulders better than your average shawl. Worked in Brooks Farm Yarn Four Play this becomes a real utility wrap,. January Hill is written in two sizes, 20″ or 24″ neck size. The 20″ size will just meet at the front, the 24″ size will allow for overlap. Requires 1000 – 1200 yds of worsted weight yarn and size 10 circular needles. This pattern is available on Ravelry.
Garden Shawl (BFY)
Cast on at one point and steadily increase until the half way point is reached, then you decrease. The edging is worked along with the body so when you cast off at the other point you are done! Worked in Trio by Brooks Farm Yarn, a worsted weight yarn on US #10.5 needles makes this shawl go quickly. Perfect for your first adventure in working lace from charts. Triple S Shawl
One of our most popular shawls, the Triple S (Solo Silk Shawl) shawl was designed to be worked in 4 different colors (1 skein each) of Brooks Farm Yarn Solo Silk. Each square is knit from the center out and the squares are assembled with a three-needle bind off. No sewing needed! The shawl is finished off with an I-cord edging. Ellie Shawl
This elegant shawl is knitted from Brooks Farm Limited Edition III (Ellie), a thick/thin wool/silk blend. It knits quickly on size 10 1/2 needles and the pattern has a range of sizes from 50-80″ wide. The edging is crocheted with the added touch of natural stone beads to bring some bling into your wardrobe. Requires 1 or 2 skeins of yarn depending on size. This pattern is also available on Ravelry
Counterspell Shawl (BFY)
Counterspell is a triangular shawl knit with beads and all over lace. Pattern includes instructions for 18 inch doll size, 48 inch, 62 inch, and 76 inch widths. Instructions are full written out. No charts are used. This pattern is designed to go with Acero by Brooks Farm Yarn. This pattern is also available on Ravelry
Drop in Knitting
We are having the regular Thursday night Drop-in Knitting class tomorrow night. Bring your questions, grab a cool drink and enjoy a couple of hours of knitting time.
