The next class on our schedule starts October 1st. Jean will be teaching you how to work the Ripples in the River cardigan. This cardi has a great basic lace – perfect for a bit of interest- and with short sleeves it can be year-round here in Texas. Prefer longer sleeves? Jean has you covered! The pattern calls for Kollage’s Corntastic which is one of my favorite yarn discoveries this year! Machine washable and dryable, comfortable and doesn’t grow with wear? YUP!

Kollage Yarns
We carry the following Kollage yarns in stock in our brick and mortar storefront. We are happy to order any yarn Kollage makes if we do not stock it. We are also thrilled to be participating in the Feed Your Creativity Program for 2011/12! Each month we will have a different kit from Kollage featuring a new yarn and special patterns. The way to get your kit is to sign up in advance to reserve one or be here when the box is opened! We will have a special “opening” on the last Sunday of each month for kits that have not been reserved in advance. Reserved kits are filled first and you will be called when your kit comes in.

Ripples in the River Cardigan
Jean Knapp will be teaching this class for the Ripples in the River Cardigan in Kollage’s Corntastic, 100% corn fiber yarn that is machine washable and dryable. This sweet summertime sweater has a pretty lace rib that is easy to master and the buttonholes are worked with basic crochet stitches.
Finished Measurements:
Chest: 36 (40, 44, 48)”
Length: 21 1/2 (22, 23 1/2, 25)”
When: Saturday April 30, May 7, 21 and June 4 from 1-3pm
Cost: $60/person plus materials
Class size is limited to 6, sign up now. Payment for classes is due upon registration. 100% refundable if you must cancel before April 23rd. After April 23rd we will refun your class fee if we can fill your spot. There are no make-up classes. If you must miss a class there is no discounted rate. We will, however, be happy to help you finish your project during regular shop hours.
