This quick to knit shawl is the perfect way to show off that one skein of Brooks Farm Yarn Acero (420 yds/ fingering weight yarn). A beautiful accent of beads in the body of the shawl and along the bind off add just the right weight to help keep it on and really allow your creation to shine. You will also need 450 size 6/0 beads. Finished size is 60″ wide by 30″ deep.

What size crochet hook is need for the beadwork in this pattern?
Thank you!
You can use a size 14 or 16 steel hook, or my personal favorite technique- OralB Superfloss! It’s amazing and easy to do. Tie a bead on the long end, thread a bunch of beads onto the short end, push them down over the fuzz part as needed, thread the short end thru the stitch to be beaded, remove the stitch from the needle, double up the short end and push one (or more!) beads over the doubled up floss and onto the yarn. Replace the stitch on the needle and remove the floss. Viola! Beads on your knitting without pointy crochet hooks and no split yarn!
